Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Adolescent
Location: Holyoke, MA 01040
Shift: Evening (3p-11:30p) (every other weekend/every other holiday)
Pay Rate: $68/hr. to $51/hr. on w2
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adolescent patients with mental health conditions.
• Monitor patients’ behavior, mood, mental status, and emotional changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assess and document vital signs and patient condition.
• Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at submission
• 3 years of adult, adolescent, and geriatric inpatient psychiatric experience required
• Must be willing to float to similar or lower-acuity units
• Must be willing to take charge; no additional charge differential
• CPR certification required
• Psychiatric/substance-use inpatient experience preferred
• Crisis intervention/de-escalation experience preferred
• BSN preferred
