Which medical devices companies sponsor TN visas in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts hosts a deep concentration of medical device employers with documented TN visa sponsorship activity. Boston Scientific (headquartered in Marlborough), Stryker, Hologic, Insulet, and Haemonetics are among the larger employers in the state. Many mid-size and startup device companies in the Route 128 and Route 495 corridors also sponsor TN workers, particularly in engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs functions.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most medical devices TN sponsorship jobs?
Greater Boston and the MetroWest suburbs account for the majority of medical devices TN roles in Massachusetts. Marlborough, Natick, Waltham, Woburn, and Burlington have significant device company footprints, while Boston and Cambridge attract roles tied to hospital systems and medtech startups. Tewksbury and Billerica also have established device manufacturing and R&D operations with recurring hiring needs.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN-eligible roles in medical devices generally fall under occupational categories recognized in the USMCA, including engineers (mechanical, electrical, biomedical, software), scientific professionals (chemists, biologists), computer systems analysts, and management consultants. Roles in regulatory affairs, quality systems, and clinical applications may qualify depending on the specific job duties and the applicant's degree field. Each petition is assessed on its own facts, so the job description and educational credentials both matter.
How do I find medical devices TN sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is purpose-built for international job seekers who need TN visa sponsorship and filters specifically for roles where employers have sponsored TN workers before. To find medical devices TN jobs in Massachusetts, browse Migrate Mate's filtered listings by state, visa type, and industry. This saves time compared to manually screening general job postings where sponsorship willingness is rarely stated upfront.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in medical devices?
Massachusetts has strong state-level employment protections, including non-compete restrictions that are narrower than in many other states, which can matter when evaluating offer letters. The state's large academic medical center network (Mass General Brigham, Beth Israel Deaconess) sometimes creates hybrid device and clinical roles where TN eligibility depends closely on how the position is classified. Device employers in Massachusetts tend to be familiar with TN processes given the high concentration of Canadian engineering talent in the region.
