Search Medical Devices Jobs in FloridaMedical Devices TN Sponsorship Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
Which medical devices companies sponsor TN visas in Florida?
Florida hosts operations from large medical devices manufacturers and distributors including Stryker, Medtronic, Becton Dickinson, Zimmer Biomet, and Arthrex, which has its headquarters in Naples. Many mid-size contract manufacturers and device distributors concentrated in the Tampa Bay and Miami metro areas also sponsor TN visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in technical and scientific roles.
Which cities in Florida have the most medical devices TN sponsorship jobs?
Tampa and the surrounding Hillsborough County area have a strong concentration of medical devices employers. Miami supports significant distribution and regulatory affairs activity, while Naples is notable as Arthrex's headquarters. The I-4 corridor connecting Tampa and Orlando also hosts device manufacturers and research operations, making it one of the more active regions for technical hiring in the state.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Florida?
TN visa eligibility requires the role to fall within a designated USMCA occupation category. In medical devices, positions commonly meeting that threshold include engineers (biomedical, mechanical, electrical), scientists (chemists, biologists), computer systems analysts supporting device software, and management consultants engaged in technical project work. Regulatory affairs specialists with relevant scientific degrees may also qualify depending on the specific role and employer documentation.
How do I find medical devices TN sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for candidates seeking U.S. visa sponsorship, including TN sponsorship in the medical devices industry. You can filter by state and industry to surface Florida-based medical devices roles from employers open to sponsoring TN applicants. This saves time compared to manually screening general job postings where sponsorship availability is often unclear or unlisted.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for medical devices TN sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which is relevant context for Canadian nationals comparing total compensation across states. The state's growing medical devices manufacturing base, supported partly by proximity to Latin American markets, creates consistent demand for technical talent. Florida employers in regulated device sectors often require FDA compliance experience, so candidates with Quality Management System or 510(k) submission backgrounds tend to be more competitive.
