Which companies sponsor visas for partnerships associates in Michigan?
Michigan's largest visa sponsors for business development and partnerships roles include General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Stellantis, Rocket Companies, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Detroit's automotive technology suppliers such as Aptiv and Lear Corporation also hire partnerships professionals and have established H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Ann Arbor's university-adjacent tech sector adds further sponsoring employers, particularly in software and research commercialization.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships associate roles in Michigan?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships associates in Michigan, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa. Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the business analyst category. L-1B visas apply when a candidate transfers intracompany in a specialized knowledge capacity.
Which cities in Michigan have the most partnerships associate sponsorship jobs?
Detroit and its suburbs, including Dearborn, Auburn Hills, and Southfield, concentrate the majority of Michigan's partnerships associate sponsorship activity given the density of automotive and corporate headquarters there. Grand Rapids is a secondary hub, with growth in healthcare and business services firms. Ann Arbor attracts partnerships roles tied to the University of Michigan's research commercialization and its surrounding technology startup ecosystem.
How to find partnerships associate visa sponsorship jobs in Michigan?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical for international candidates to identify partnerships associate openings in Michigan without sorting through roles that won't support a work visa. You can search by state and role type to surface relevant positions across Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Ann Arbor. Migrate Mate's listings are updated regularly to reflect current employer sponsorship activity.
Are there state-specific factors that affect partnerships associate visa sponsorship in Michigan?
Michigan's concentration in automotive, manufacturing technology, and healthcare shapes the partnerships associate roles most likely to qualify as specialty occupations for H-1B purposes. Employers in these industries tend to have established immigration programs and in-house or retained legal counsel. The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor also functions as a talent pipeline, with OPT and CPT holders often transitioning into partnerships roles at Michigan-based employers before seeking H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships associate jobs in Michigan?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
