Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for analytics manager roles?
UnitedHealth Group and its subsidiary Optum are among Minnesota's most active H-1B sponsors for analytics roles, given the scale of their data operations in Minnetonka and Eden Prairie. Target and Best Buy regularly sponsor analytics managers out of their Minneapolis headquarters. Other consistent sponsors include 3M, U.S. Bank, and Medtronic, each with dedicated analytics functions tied to their core business lines.
Which visa types are most common for analytics manager jobs in Minnesota?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for analytics manager roles in Minnesota, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, data science, or business analytics. Some employers also sponsor L-1 visa intracompany transfers for managers moving from an affiliated foreign office. Candidates with eligible nationalities may also encounter TN visa or E-3 visa pathways through their employer.
How to find analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find analytics manager roles in Minnesota where employers are open to visa sponsorship. The platform filters listings specifically for sponsorship-willing employers, saving time compared to manually screening generic job postings. Focusing your search on the Twin Cities metro, particularly Minneapolis, Eden Prairie, and Minnetonka, will surface the highest concentration of relevant analytics manager openings from healthcare, retail, and financial services companies.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and its western suburbs, particularly Eden Prairie and Minnetonka, account for the large majority of analytics manager sponsorship activity in Minnesota. UnitedHealth Group's campus in Minnetonka alone represents a significant share of data hiring in the state. St. Paul contributes additional opportunities through financial services and government-adjacent healthcare organizations. Rochester is a smaller but notable market due to Mayo Clinic's growing analytics and data science functions.
Are there state-specific considerations for analytics manager sponsorship in Minnesota?
Minnesota's healthcare and retail sectors drive unusually high demand for analytics managers relative to the state's overall size, which means sponsoring employers are not limited to a single industry. The University of Minnesota produces a steady pipeline of graduate-level analytics and data science talent, and several employers in the state have established patterns of hiring from that pipeline and sponsoring international graduates. Prevailing wage requirements for analytics manager roles in the Twin Cities metro reflect the region's competitive compensation norms, which employers must meet as part of the H-1B Labor Condition Application process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored analytics manager jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
