Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician
Successful candidates are eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus!
Position Summary
Schwickert’s Tecta America is looking for skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC-R Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC-R systems.
- Perform start-up of installed systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and preventative services.
- Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Technical school degree preferred, but not required.
- 3+ years of HVAC-R experience required.
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month).
- NATE certification, DDC/Pneumatic controls, boiler license, or refrigeration background a plus.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures.
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Pay Range:
$30–$45+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
