Which companies sponsor visas for analytics engineers in Missouri?
Missouri's largest visa sponsors for analytics engineering roles tend to be concentrated in healthcare IT and financial services. Cerner (now Oracle Health) in Kansas City, Centene Corporation in Clayton, and Edward Jones in St. Louis have all filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for data and analytics positions. Enterprise software firms and regional consulting practices with large data practices also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure records.
Which visa types are most common for analytics engineer roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for analytics engineers in Missouri, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may pursue TN status under the USMCA. Those with extraordinary achievement in data engineering may explore the O-1A, though it requires substantial documented recognition in the field.
How to find analytics engineer visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by role and state to surface analytics engineer positions in Missouri where employers have indicated sponsorship availability. Because many Missouri employers in healthcare and financial services are experienced H-1B sponsors, filtering to this state tends to return a focused set of companies with established immigration processes rather than first-time sponsors.
Which cities in Missouri have the most analytics engineer sponsorship jobs?
Kansas City and St. Louis account for the overwhelming majority of analytics engineer sponsorship opportunities in Missouri. Kansas City's health technology sector, anchored by Oracle Health's former Cerner campus, generates consistent demand. St. Louis draws from financial services firms, insurance companies, and a growing startup ecosystem around Cortex Innovation Community. Springfield and Columbia see occasional openings, typically tied to university-affiliated organizations or regional healthcare systems.
Are there any Missouri-specific considerations for analytics engineers seeking visa sponsorship?
Missouri has a notable concentration of healthcare IT employers, which means analytics engineers with experience in EHR data, claims analytics, or population health modeling may find stronger demand here than in generalist tech markets. The state's two major research universities, Washington University in St. Louis and University of Missouri, also create a pipeline that some employers tap, giving candidates with academic data credentials a recognizable context when applying to Missouri-based sponsors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored analytics engineer jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
