This position is ideal for someone experienced in diagnosing and repairing lawn, outdoor power equipment and snow equipment who wants steady, year-round work with growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small engines
- Service lawn mowers, zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and snow equipment
- Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, blade sharpening, and inspections
- Accurately document repairs and parts used
- Provide clear communication regarding repair timelines and estimates
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
- 1+ year of small engine repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred (Not Required)
- Technical certification in small engine repair
- Experience in a dealership or repair shop environment
- Familiarity with major outdoor power equipment brands
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
- Overtime available during peak seasons
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
