Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple business clients
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments
- Handle monthly/period-end close
- Maintain and clean up QuickBooks Online accounts
- Review P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
- Manage AP/AR and payroll-related accounting
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports
- Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting needs
- Manage multiple deadlines and client priorities independently
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, reconciliations and journal entries
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- AP/AR and payroll accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work primarily onsite in Liberty, MO
