Which companies in Nebraska sponsor visas for customer success roles?
Omaha-based employers are the most active sponsors for customer success positions in Nebraska. Financial services firms like Mutual of Omaha and TD Ameritrade, along with technology companies and healthcare organizations operating in the region, have historically filed H-1B petitions for client-facing roles. Sponsorship availability varies by company size and hiring cycle, so confirming with individual employers directly is always recommended.
Which visa types are most common for customer success roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer success managers and similar roles in Nebraska, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, communications, or information technology. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also qualify for the TN visa under the 'Management Consultant' or related categories, depending on the specific job duties.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most customer success sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the majority of customer success sponsorship activity in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and technology employers. Lincoln is a secondary market with growing opportunities, particularly through its university-affiliated tech ecosystem and state government contractors. Smaller markets like Bellevue occasionally see openings tied to defense and logistics sector employers.
How to find customer success visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters customer success roles in Nebraska by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're not sorting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. Searching by state and role on Migrate Mate surfaces positions from companies that have demonstrated sponsorship willingness, which is particularly useful in a mid-sized market like Nebraska where sponsored openings are less frequent than in coastal tech hubs.
Are there any Nebraska-specific considerations for customer success visa sponsorship?
Nebraska is a lower cost-of-living state, which affects prevailing wage determinations under H-1B Labor Condition Application requirements. Employers must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for the specific role and location, which in Nebraska's market will differ from rates in San Francisco or New York. Candidates from University of Nebraska graduate programs sometimes have existing OPT or STEM OPT authorization, which can bridge the gap before an employer files an H-1B petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
