Which companies sponsor visas for finance managers in New Hampshire?
Healthcare organizations including Dartmouth Health and Elliot Health System, along with BAE Systems and Segra International in the manufacturing and technology sectors, have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for finance and accounting roles in New Hampshire. Financial services firms based in Manchester also appear in DOL disclosure data for sponsored positions at the finance manager level.
Which visa types are most common for finance manager roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for finance manager roles in New Hampshire, as the position consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Australian citizens may also qualify through the E-3 visa. Candidates already holding L-1 visa intracompany transferee status with a multinational employer represent another common pathway into senior finance roles.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most finance manager sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is the primary hub for finance manager sponsorship activity in New Hampshire, given its concentration of regional headquarters, financial services firms, and healthcare employers. Nashua, situated near the Massachusetts border, attracts sponsorship from technology and defense contractors. Concord, as the state capital, sees sponsorship from government-adjacent organizations and larger healthcare networks in the region.
How to find finance manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters finance manager roles specifically by visa sponsorship availability and state, making it straightforward to identify New Hampshire employers actively hiring international candidates. Because sponsorship willingness is not always stated in standard job postings, using a dedicated platform like Migrate Mate saves significant time compared to reviewing general listings manually. Filtering by role and location surfaces the most relevant open positions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for finance managers seeking sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since DOL sets H-1B wage floors at the metropolitan statistical area level using federal Bureau of Labor Statistics data, not state tax structure. Employers in the Manchester-Nashua metro area are benchmarked against that MSA's prevailing wage for financial managers. The University of New Hampshire also produces local finance graduates, but international hiring remains active given demand at the senior management level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance manager jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
