Position Summary:
This position offers a unique opportunity for new graduate nurses to transition into professional practice through comprehensive training, individual preceptorships, and simulation experiences. The Registered Nurse - New Graduate will engage in a structured orientation and mentorship program, ensuring the development of critical clinical skills and professional confidence. This position prepares the new graduate to provide high-quality patient care while gaining experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role not only provides an avenue for new graduates to develop a strong foundation in nursing practice but also supports career advancement through structured learning and professional development opportunities. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain an RN license in the practicing state.
- Association accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month grace period after the expiration date.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Proficiency in basic computer and medical record-keeping software.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to varied healthcare environments.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Work Experience:
