Which companies sponsor visas for new business development roles in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with consistent H-1B visa sponsorship histories in business development include NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Honeywell, Cox Enterprises, and UPS. Financial services firms like Fiserv and Equifax also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for business-facing roles. Consulting firms such as Deloitte and Accenture, which maintain large Atlanta offices, are among the more active sponsors for client-facing business development positions.
Which visa types are most common for new business development roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most commonly sponsored visa for new business development roles in Georgia, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field. L-1B visas appear for intracompany transferees moving into business development functions within multinational firms. O-1 visas are occasionally used for candidates with an exceptional track record of performance in their field.
Which cities in Georgia have the most new business development sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of visa-sponsored new business development roles in Georgia. Midtown, Buckhead, and the Central Perimeter corridor concentrate most hiring activity, driven by corporate headquarters and regional offices of major enterprises. Alpharetta has emerged as a significant secondary hub, particularly in technology and software sales-adjacent business development, while Savannah sees some activity tied to logistics and port-related industries.
How to find new business development visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters new business development roles in Georgia by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. You can browse roles by city, industry, and company size. Because Atlanta's business development market moves quickly, checking Migrate Mate regularly gives you the most current view of which Georgia employers are actively hiring and sponsoring.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for new business development roles in Georgia?
Georgia does not have state-level visa programs, so sponsorship follows standard federal pathways. However, Atlanta's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters means many employers have established immigration infrastructure and prior experience sponsoring business development hires. The Georgia Research Alliance and university pipelines from Georgia Tech and Emory also feed talent into corporate business development roles, which can influence how familiar local hiring managers are with the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored new business development jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
