Which companies in New Hampshire sponsor visas for professional services consultants?
Companies with documented H-1B sponsorship activity for consulting roles in New Hampshire include Oracle, Fidelity Investments, BAE Systems, and Anthem. Mid-sized IT services and management consulting firms operating out of Manchester and Nashua also file petitions regularly. Sponsorship patterns vary by employer size and project pipeline, so researching a company's LCA filing history through the Department of Labor's disclosure data is a practical starting point.
What visa types are most common for professional services consultant roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for professional services consultants in New Hampshire, covering roles that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific specialty field such as business, IT, finance, or engineering. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying consulting classifications. The L-1B intracompany transferee visa applies when a consultant is transferring from a foreign affiliate of a U.S. employer.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most professional services consultant sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city and the primary hub for professional services and technology consulting, followed closely by Nashua, which hosts a concentration of IT and defense-adjacent firms along the Massachusetts border. Concord, as the state capital, supports consulting roles tied to government and healthcare clients. These three cities account for the majority of employer-sponsored consulting positions filed in the state.
How to find professional services consultant visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for professional services consultant roles in New Hampshire without manually screening out employers who don't sponsor. You can browse by state and role category to surface active openings from companies with documented sponsorship history. This saves significant time compared to reviewing unfiltered job postings where sponsorship details are often absent or unclear.
Are there any state-specific considerations for professional services consultants seeking visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire does not have a state income tax on wages, which affects how prevailing wage determinations compare in real-dollar terms relative to neighboring Massachusetts. Employers must still meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the relevant occupation and geographic area when filing a Labor Condition Application. New Hampshire's proximity to Boston also means some employers have regional operations that span both states, so job location details on petitions are worth reviewing carefully.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored professional services consultant jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
