Which companies sponsor visas for project executives in New Hampshire?
Defense and technology contractors are the most active visa sponsors for project executive roles in New Hampshire. BAE Systems in Nashua, Segue Technologies in Manchester, and PC Connection in Merrimack have histories of H-1B sponsorship for senior project and program management positions. Larger construction and engineering firms operating statewide also periodically sponsor for project executive talent when domestic hiring falls short.
Which visa types are most common for project executive roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project executive positions, provided the role requires a specialized bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as engineering, construction management, or information technology. Candidates with exceptional records of leading large-scale programs may also qualify for the O-1A. Executives transferring within a multinational organization should consider whether the L-1A applies to their situation.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most project executive sponsorship jobs?
The southern tier of New Hampshire generates the majority of project executive sponsorship activity. Manchester, as the state's largest city, hosts the most concentrated mix of technology, construction, and professional services employers. Nashua follows closely, driven by its defense and advanced manufacturing base. Concord, as the state capital, adds public-sector and infrastructure project activity, particularly for firms holding state contracts.
How to find project executive visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers have demonstrated willingness to sponsor visas, saving project executive candidates from sorting through postings that offer no sponsorship path. You can filter directly by New Hampshire to surface relevant openings in construction, defense, and technology sectors. Because project executive roles are senior-level, postings move quickly, so checking Migrate Mate regularly improves your chances of applying early.
Are there state-specific considerations for project executives pursuing visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since take-home pay differs from neighboring Massachusetts and Vermont. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications must still meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the relevant occupation and geographic area. New Hampshire's proximity to Boston also means some project executives are based in Manchester or Nashua while working on projects that span both states, which employers must account for in LCA filings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project executive jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
