Which companies sponsor visas for shift supervisors in New Hampshire?
Manufacturing firms such as BAE Systems in Nashua and Segra International, along with large retail and logistics operators, have historically filed sponsorship petitions for supervisory roles in New Hampshire. Hospitality groups tied to the state's tourism industry also sponsor periodically. Sponsorship is employer-driven, so it varies by company size, hiring volume, and whether the role meets specialty occupation or other qualifying visa criteria.
Which visa types are most common for shift supervisor roles in New Hampshire?
Most shift supervisor sponsorships in New Hampshire come through the H-1B visa, which requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, typically meaning a position requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Roles in technical operations, quality control supervision, or manufacturing management are more likely to qualify than general retail supervision. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most shift supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the majority of employer-sponsored supervisory positions in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of manufacturing, technology, and logistics employers. Concord, as the state capital, has sponsorship activity in healthcare administration and government-adjacent operations. Salem and Portsmouth also see hiring in retail distribution and hospitality, particularly given their proximity to major interstate corridors and the Massachusetts border.
How to find shift supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship in the U.S. You can filter directly for shift supervisor roles in New Hampshire to see employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness. Because sponsorship for supervisory roles depends heavily on the specific employer and how the position is structured, reviewing active listings on Migrate Mate and researching each company's prior H-1B visa filing history is a practical starting point.
Are there state-specific considerations for shift supervisor visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since net compensation differs from neighboring states. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay at least the prevailing wage set by the Department of Labor for the specific role and location, using the Standard Occupational Classification for supervisors in the relevant industry. New Hampshire's relatively small labor market means fewer total sponsorship petitions than nearby Massachusetts, so available roles are more concentrated among a handful of larger employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored shift supervisor jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
