Which companies sponsor visas for healthcare analysts in New Jersey?
Large integrated health systems are the most active sponsors in New Jersey. RWJBarnabas Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, Atlantic Health System, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey have all filed H-1B petitions for healthcare analyst roles. Major pharmaceutical and life sciences employers headquartered in the state, including Johnson & Johnson and Becton Dickinson, also hire analysts and have established visa sponsorship programs.
Which visa types are most common for healthcare analyst roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for healthcare analysts in New Jersey, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in health informatics, public health, statistics, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT through a U.S. university can also work for an employer willing to later sponsor an H-1B petition. The EB-3 employment-based green card is a longer-term pathway some employers pursue.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most healthcare analyst sponsorship jobs?
Newark, New Brunswick, and Morristown see the highest concentration of healthcare analyst postings tied to the state's major health systems. Edison and Parsippany attract analyst roles from payer organizations and health IT firms. Somerset County, home to several pharmaceutical headquarters, also generates demand. Proximity to New York City means some roles are posted as hybrid, with a New Jersey office location listed for H-1B Labor Condition Application filing purposes.
How to find healthcare analyst visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse healthcare analyst openings in New Jersey without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and job category to surface positions from New Jersey health systems, payers, and life sciences firms that have an active track record of H-1B filings for analyst-level roles.
Are there any state-specific considerations for healthcare analysts seeking sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's dense healthcare network, spanning hospital systems, insurance payers, and a large pharmaceutical corridor along Route 1 and the I-287 corridor, creates a range of analyst roles across clinical, financial, and population health functions. Employers filing H-1B petitions must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the specific county where the role is based, which can vary meaningfully between urban counties like Essex and suburban counties further from New York City.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored healthcare analyst jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
