Which companies sponsor visas for customer success consultants in New York?
Large technology and enterprise software firms are the most active sponsors for customer success consultant roles in New York. Companies like Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, SAP, and Adobe have consistent H-1B sponsorship histories in New York. Beyond large enterprises, SaaS startups headquartered in Manhattan and Brooklyn also sponsor regularly, particularly those backed by institutional investors that have established HR infrastructure for visa processing.
Which visa types are most common for customer success consultant roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer success consultants in New York, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant specialty field such as business, information technology, or communications. Some candidates enter through the L-1B (intracompany transfer for specialized knowledge) if they're moving from a foreign office of a multinational. Australian citizens may also qualify for the E-3 visa as an alternative to H-1B.
Which cities in New York have the most customer success consultant sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the overwhelming majority of customer success consultant sponsorship opportunities in New York State, driven by its concentration of enterprise tech firms, financial services companies, and SaaS headquarters. Brooklyn's tech community, particularly DUMBO and the Navy Yard area, is a secondary hub. Albany and Buffalo have a smaller but present demand, primarily from healthcare technology and government-adjacent software vendors.
How to find customer success consultant visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters customer success consultant roles in New York by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sifting through listings that won't support work authorization. Because New York's market moves quickly and many roles fill through enterprise recruiting cycles, setting up alerts on Migrate Mate for this role and location combination helps you respond to new sponsorship-eligible postings early.
Are there state-specific considerations for customer success consultant sponsorship jobs in New York?
New York follows federal H-1B prevailing wage requirements, but the New York City metro area is designated a high-cost region, which means the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determinations for customer success roles here tend to be among the highest in the country. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications must certify they're meeting these wage levels. Candidates from universities in the SUNY or CUNY systems or programs like Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island sometimes have established pipelines with New York-based tech employers who sponsor visas.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success consultant jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
