Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for customer success consultants?
Enterprise technology and healthcare IT employers are the most active sponsors for customer success consultant roles in Minnesota. Companies like Medtronic, UnitedHealth Group, Target, and Best Buy have sponsored H-1B visa and other work visas for client-facing technical roles. Smaller SaaS and fintech firms headquartered in the Twin Cities also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as sponsors for customer success positions.
Which visa types are most common for customer success consultant roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer success consultants in Minnesota, particularly for roles requiring a degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field. The L-1B may apply when an international employee transfers from a foreign affiliate. Australian citizens may also qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is processed faster than the H-1B.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most customer success consultant sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and Saint Paul account for the vast majority of customer success consultant sponsorship opportunities in Minnesota. The greater Twin Cities metro is home to corporate headquarters for UnitedHealth Group, Target, and numerous SaaS companies, concentrating sponsorship activity there. Rochester has some presence driven by healthcare technology employers connected to the Mayo Clinic ecosystem, but it is a much smaller market.
How to find customer success consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate aggregates visa sponsorship jobs specifically for international candidates, including customer success consultant roles filtered by Minnesota employers. Because not every job posting explicitly states sponsorship availability, Migrate Mate identifies companies with a documented sponsorship history so you can focus your applications on employers already open to supporting work visas rather than filtering manually through general job boards.
What should international candidates know about customer success consultant roles in Minnesota specifically?
Customer success consultant positions in Minnesota frequently support enterprise software, medical devices, or financial products, meaning employers often expect candidates with industry-specific knowledge alongside client management skills. H-1B sponsorship for these roles depends on the position qualifying as a specialty occupation, which requires the employer to demonstrate that a specific bachelor's degree or higher is a standard requirement. Roles framed as general account management may face more scrutiny than those tied to technical or healthcare platforms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success consultant jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
