Join our collaborative team as a Senior Business Analyst where you'll connect business and technology to create innovative solutions across Thermo Fisher Scientific. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll analyze complex business needs, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our operations and customer experience.
In this role, you'll apply your expertise in data analysis, process optimization, and project management to deliver impactful results that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll partner with stakeholders at all levels to identify opportunities for improvement, develop comprehensive solutions, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in business analysis or related role
- Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus
- Proven expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence tools
- Experience with Quality systems, preferably TrackWise/TrackWise Digital
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience working with cross-functional, global teams
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, and project management tools
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes, preferred
- Ability to influence and build consensus across organizational levels
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and validation requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Up to 25% travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93,800.00–$125,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
