JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is based in our 222 W Las Colinas Blvd, Texas office and onsite at events.

Join our team as an Events Onsite IT Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services for our world-class trade show events. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, travel to diverse event locations, and make a tangible impact on the success of our events.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Events Onsite IT Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Event & Onsite IT Support Director and other internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute IT requirements for events requiring onsite support. From gathering IT needs in advance to managing hardware logistics and providing hands-on technical support during events, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. This role involves extensive travel, with a minimum of 50% of your time spent onsite at events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Support & Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to onsite staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Manage network maintenance and security, including LAN and WAN setups.

Event IT Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather IT requirements ahead of events.
- Coordinate the shipment, setup, and teardown of IT equipment.
- Design and implement LANs, particularly for POS systems, and generate daily POS reports onsite.

Support credit and cash transactions from an IT perspective.

Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with internet regulations and PCI standards.
- Perform Windows administration, including managing local and global policies.

Oversee server log reviews, database management, and equipment reprogramming.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work with IT department leads to coordinate temporary staff for events.
- Contribute to the IT department’s strategic goals and policies.
- Manage the Informa Las Vegas warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Windows Server management, SQL, and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies, including CISCO ACL and routing.
- Database modeling skills (SQL, Oracle, ODBC, etc.).
- Ability to design custom reports using reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, travel extensively, and be on-call.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

The salary range for this role is $60,000- $70,000 based on experience.
