INTRODUCTION
As a Product Manager for Security Graph Foundations you'll be responsible for the shared graph platform that powers Datadog's security intelligence across Cloud Security, Cloud SIEM, Application Security, and Workload Protection. Datadog's security graph connects identities, resources, findings, and signals into a unified model of risk, enabling security teams to understand not just what is happening but what it means for their entire environment. This role sits at the center of that platform: owning the infrastructure, data model, and cross-product capabilities that let every Datadog security product ask and answer graph-powered questions. You will partner with engineers across multiple platform teams and serve as the connective tissue between security graph infrastructure and the security product teams building on top of it.
What You'll Do:
- Define and build the roadmap for Security Graph Foundations, the shared platform connecting security data across Cloud Security, Cloud SIEM, Application Security, and Workload Protection.
- Drive execution of security graph infrastructure investments, aligning platform team dependencies to clear milestones and timelines.
- Work closely with executives, marketing, sales, PR, design, and support teams to successfully bring new products and features to market.
- Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape and identify key areas of competitive differentiation and market disruption.
- Maintain and report to product leadership on key metrics regarding platform adoption and customer value.
- Partner with security product PMs and customers to define and expand cross-product graph use cases that surface risk and context across cloud, code, SIEM, workload protection, and application security.
- Partner with the security graph intelligence team to define what data belongs in the graph, how it is modeled, and how platform capabilities are shared across product teams.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3+ years in enterprise software, with a preference for security or data platform background.
- Committed to high-quality products and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting ideas to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable driving execution across complex, multi-team dependencies while maintaining a clear product strategy and prioritization framework.
- Prior engineering experience or deep understanding of graph data modeling, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure, including how to decide what becomes a graph edge, an attribute, or a connector.
- Familiarity with security domains across cloud, code, SIEM, and workload protection, enough to credibly partner with product teams on what belongs in the graph and why.
- Regularly uses LLM-based tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate your work, from drafting PRDs and analyzing data to researching markets and prototyping ideas.
- Driven to build and scale new products in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrates strong ownership, data-driven problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Which companies sponsor visas for product managers in New York?
Several large employers in New York have consistent track records of sponsoring product managers for work visas. These include major tech firms like Google, Amazon, and Meta, financial institutions like JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup, and media and data companies like Bloomberg and Spotify. Startups in the Flatiron and Brooklyn tech districts also sponsor, though less predictably than enterprise employers.
Which visa types are most common for product manager roles in New York?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for product managers in New York, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. Candidates with extraordinary ability may qualify for an O-1 visa. Australians should explore the E-3 visa, which follows a similar process to the H-1B visa but without the annual lottery.
Which cities in New York have the most product manager sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the overwhelming majority of product manager sponsorship activity in New York state, particularly in Midtown and the Flatiron District where tech, finance, and media companies concentrate. Brooklyn, specifically the DUMBO and Industry City areas, has a growing cluster of mid-stage startups that hire product managers internationally. Outside New York City, sponsorship opportunities are limited and largely tied to universities or healthcare systems.
How to find product manager visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship roles, including product manager positions in New York. You can filter by role and state to see employers currently sponsoring, rather than applying broadly and discovering late in the process that a company won't sponsor. Given how competitive the New York product manager market is, targeting verified sponsoring employers from the start saves significant time.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for product managers seeking visa sponsorship?
New York's high cost of living means prevailing wage requirements for H-1B product manager roles tend to be among the highest in the country, which can affect whether smaller employers are willing to sponsor. The state also has a dense pipeline of international graduate talent from Columbia, NYU, and Cornell Tech, meaning competition for sponsored roles is intense. Product managers with specialized backgrounds in fintech, adtech, or enterprise SaaS tend to have stronger positioning with New York employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product manager jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
