Which companies sponsor visas for product marketing managers in North Carolina?
Red Hat in Raleigh, SAS Institute in Cary, and Cisco's Research Triangle Park offices are among the more consistent sponsors for product marketing manager roles in North Carolina. Charlotte-based firms in financial services, including Bank of America and LendingTree, have also sponsored PMM positions. Sponsorship frequency shifts with hiring cycles, so current LCA filings with the Department of Labor are the most reliable indicator.
Which visa types are most common for product marketing manager roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product marketing managers in North Carolina. The role generally qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1 status through multinational employers in the Triangle or Charlotte may also transfer into PMM roles without entering the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most product marketing manager sponsorship jobs?
Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, collectively known as the Research Triangle, account for the largest share of product marketing manager sponsorship activity in North Carolina. The concentration of tech companies and enterprise software firms in Research Triangle Park drives most of that demand. Charlotte is the second-strongest market, primarily through fintech, banking, and SaaS companies expanding their Southeast footprints.
How to find product marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse product marketing manager openings in North Carolina without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. Because PMM positions in the Triangle and Charlotte move quickly, setting up alerts on Migrate Mate for this role and state lets you apply as soon as sponsored positions open rather than discovering them after the fact.
Are there state-specific considerations for product marketing managers seeking visa sponsorship in North Carolina?
North Carolina's Research Triangle draws heavily from NC State, Duke, and UNC Chapel Hill, creating a competitive local talent pool that some employers weigh before committing to H-1B sponsorship. However, the region's tech sector has a well-established pattern of sponsoring international hires, particularly in enterprise software and data analytics. Prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B apply statewide and are set by Department of Labor data for each specific county and job title.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product marketing manager jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
