Location: New York, LA, SF
Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We’re building a high-impact team of strategic operators to drive the core initiatives shaping the future of the MrBeast ecosystem. As an Associate on the Corporate Development & Strategy team, you'll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership, leading cross-functional projects spanning new business creation, strategic partnerships, corporate development, infrastructure, and emerging platform strategy. This team operates at the intersection of media, tech, and entrepreneurship - turning vision into execution and building the systems that will power our next chapter of growth. We’re looking for someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, think critically at both a strategic and operational level, and help build new ventures and capabilities from the ground up. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and operational precision. This is a builder-operator seat with exposure to the most critical decisions in the business - you’ll thrive if you’re comfortable navigating uncharted territory, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering meaningful results at speed. If owning complex initiatives end-to-end in a fast-moving environment excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that don’t neatly fall into one department - from building new business lines to scaling infrastructure and revenue operations
- Own complex projects from 0 to 1: sizing markets, modeling financial scenarios, developing execution roadmaps, and launching pilots
- Translate successful pilots into scalable systems, processes, or programs the business can operationalize
- Support strategic partnerships and deal evaluation efforts - including structuring, negotiation, diligence, and post-deal integration
- Develop financial frameworks and ROI analyses to inform investment, partnership, or new business decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate across content, product, operations, data, legal, and finance to turn strategy into execution
- Drive alignment and clarity across leadership on the scope, progress, and impact of high-priority projects
- Build and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, or advisors as needed
- Present clear strategic recommendations to executive leadership to drive decision-making on key priorities
- Shape scalable operating models and strategic frameworks that guide how the org executes partnerships, new ventures, or company-wide initiatives
- Leverage modern tools - including AI - to accelerate execution, automate workflows, and increase team productivity
- Track market dynamics across the creator economy, platforms, and tech landscape to inform strategic bets
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in top-tier investment banking, strategy consulting, venture capital, private equity, or operating roles at high-growth companies, with at least 2 years in an internal or operator role
- Proven ability to take full ownership of complex, ambiguous projects - from initial scoping through execution and delivery
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights
- Strong communicator capable of influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams through clear, structured thinking
- Adept at structuring and managing partnerships or deals, ideally with exposure to the media or technology sectors
- Comfortable operating at all altitudes — from high-level strategy with executives to digging into details alongside ICs
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with evolving priorities
- Proficiency with modern AI tools and workflows - or the curiosity and initiative to learn and apply them independently
- Deep curiosity about the creator economy, new business models, and the future of content, tech, and platforms
- A team-first mindset, strong judgment, and an instinct for high-leverage work

Which companies sponsor visas for strategy associates in North Carolina?
Bank of America and Wells Fargo in Charlotte regularly sponsor strategy associates through H-1B petitions. Consulting firms including Deloitte, McKinsey, and BCG with Research Triangle presence also have established sponsorship track records. Healthcare organizations like Atrium Health and Duke Health sponsor strategy roles tied to their planning and growth functions. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team, and hiring cycle, so verifying with each employer directly is important.
Which visa types are most common for strategy associate roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa for strategy associates in North Carolina, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field and qualify as specialty occupations. Candidates with Australian citizenship may pursue the E-3 visa. Those from Canada or Mexico may qualify under the TN visa in the management consultant category. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT are common bridge options for recent graduates while pursuing employer sponsorship.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most strategy associate sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte is the primary hub, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, corporate headquarters, and management consulting offices. The Research Triangle area, spanning Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, is the second strongest market, anchored by technology companies, life sciences employers, and university-affiliated organizations. Greensboro and Winston-Salem have a smaller but present market, particularly within healthcare systems and regional financial institutions.
How to find strategy associate visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles and filters strategy associate positions in North Carolina by sponsorship history and visa type. Rather than sorting through thousands of listings with no sponsorship context, Migrate Mate surfaces employers in Charlotte and the Research Triangle that have actively sponsored strategy roles. Creating a profile and setting location filters to North Carolina will surface the most relevant opportunities for your visa situation.
Are there state-specific considerations for strategy associates pursuing sponsorship in North Carolina?
North Carolina's Research Triangle pipeline draws heavily from Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, and NC State, meaning employers in the area are accustomed to hiring internationally and navigating student visa transitions. For H-1B purposes, the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for strategy associate roles in Charlotte differs from Raleigh, so LCA filings will reflect local market rates. Candidates on OPT should confirm their employer's H-1B sponsorship policy early, as the timeline from offer to cap-subject filing is tight.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy associate jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
