Which companies in Ohio sponsor visas for project management analysts?
Ohio employers with a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for project management analysts include Nationwide Insurance, Huntington Bancshares, Cardinal Health, Battelle Memorial Institute, and Northrop Grumman. Large healthcare networks like Cleveland Clinic and OhioHealth also hire project management analysts and have sponsored international candidates. Enterprise-scale employers in manufacturing and financial services tend to have established HR and legal infrastructure for sponsorship.
What visa types are most common for project management analyst roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project management analysts in Ohio, since the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1B status through multinational employers may also transfer into analyst roles. Those with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the Management Consultant category, depending on job duties.
Which Ohio cities have the most project management analyst visa sponsorship jobs?
Columbus concentrates the largest share of project management analyst sponsorship activity, driven by its insurance, financial services, and technology sectors. Cleveland follows closely, anchored by healthcare systems and professional services firms. Dayton is a secondary hub with demand from defense contractors and government-adjacent organizations. Cincinnati also generates consistent openings through its consumer goods and logistics employers.
How to find project management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify project management analyst roles in Ohio where employers are actively open to sponsoring international candidates. Rather than sorting through general postings, you can browse Ohio-specific results for this role directly. Combining Migrate Mate with DOL OFLC disclosure data to verify which Ohio employers have filed LCAs for similar titles adds useful context when prioritizing applications.
Are there any Ohio-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for project management analysts?
Ohio's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B project management analyst roles are benchmarked to the Columbus, Cleveland, or Dayton metropolitan statistical areas depending on the work location, and wages can differ meaningfully between these metros. The state's strong university pipeline from Ohio State, Case Western Reserve, and the University of Cincinnati means employers are familiar with OPT and STEM OPT timelines, which can ease initial hiring conversations for international graduates already in the U.S.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management analyst jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
