Which companies in Oklahoma sponsor visas for business data analysts?
Energy sector employers including Devon Energy, Williams Companies, and ONEOK have histories of sponsoring H-1B workers for analytical roles in Oklahoma. Healthcare systems like INTEGRIS Health and SSM Health, along with financial institutions and insurance companies headquartered in Oklahoma City, also appear in Department of Labor LCA filings for business data analyst positions. Technology and consulting firms with Oklahoma offices round out the sponsoring employer pool.
Which visa types are most common for business data analyst roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for business data analysts in Oklahoma, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business analytics, statistics, computer science, or information systems. Candidates already holding an F-1 with OPT or STEM OPT extension may work for sponsoring employers during that period while the employer files an H-1B petition.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most business data analyst sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City generates the largest share of business data analyst sponsorship opportunities in the state, driven by its concentration of energy corporations, healthcare networks, and state government contractors. Tulsa is the second most active market, anchored by pipeline and energy services companies along with a growing professional services sector. Norman and Stillwater occasionally see openings tied to university-affiliated research and technology commercialization activity.
How to find business data analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters business data analyst openings in Oklahoma by visa sponsorship availability, so you are not sorting through roles that will not support your status. The platform surfaces employers with documented sponsorship histories in the state, helping you focus on companies already familiar with H-1B and OPT processes for data and analytics roles in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding areas.
Are there state-specific considerations for business data analysts seeking visa sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily tied to energy, making familiarity with oil and gas operations data, production analytics, or supply chain reporting a meaningful differentiator when targeting local sponsors. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage determinations for business data analysts in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metropolitan areas govern what sponsoring employers must pay H-1B workers, and employers must certify compliance through a Labor Condition Application before petitioning USCIS.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business data analyst jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
