Which companies sponsor visas for service advisors in Oklahoma?
Large dealership groups and fleet service operations are the most consistent sponsors for service advisor roles in Oklahoma. AutoNation, Hendrick Automotive, and regional dealer groups in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas have histories of H-1B visa and other work visa sponsorships. Manufacturers with regional service operations, such as those supporting the oil and gas equipment sector, also hire service advisors and occasionally sponsor visa candidates.
Which visa types are most common for service advisor roles in Oklahoma?
H-1B sponsorship is possible for service advisor roles when the position is structured to require a specialized bachelor's degree, though this classification is not automatic and depends on how the employer defines the role. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in specific professional categories. Candidates already holding an EAD through OPT or another status may find it easier to enter service advisor roles while pursuing long-term sponsorship.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most service advisor sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City and Tulsa account for the majority of service advisor hiring activity in the state. Oklahoma City's large suburban dealership corridors along Shields Boulevard and Northwest Expressway host numerous franchised dealerships. Tulsa's auto row and growing fleet service sector add additional opportunities. Broken Arrow and Norman, as part of these metro areas, also have dealership clusters where service advisor positions appear regularly.
How to find service advisor visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship in the U.S., including service advisor roles in Oklahoma. You can filter directly by state and job type to see which Oklahoma employers are actively sponsoring. This saves significant time compared to manually researching individual dealership groups or service operations across Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding areas.
Are there state-specific factors that affect service advisor visa sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy has a strong base in energy, agriculture, and manufacturing, which drives demand for equipment and fleet service advisors beyond traditional auto dealerships. This expands the types of employers who may sponsor service advisors. Prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules apply statewide, and employers must meet Department of Labor standards for the Oklahoma City or Tulsa metropolitan area depending on the job location.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service advisor jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
