Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for corporate development analysts?
Oregon's largest visa sponsors for finance and strategy roles include Nike, Intel, and Adidas, all of which maintain active corporate development functions and have documented H-1B sponsorship histories. Oregon Health & Science University and larger regional banks occasionally sponsor for analyst-level roles as well. Sponsorship is most consistent at companies with dedicated immigration programs and high-volume hiring across their finance and strategy teams.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development analyst roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for corporate development analysts in Oregon, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with Australian citizenship may consider the E-3 visa as an alternative. Those already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT can work while a sponsor files an H-1B petition on their behalf.
Which cities in Oregon have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Portland is by far the primary market for corporate development analyst roles in Oregon, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, mid-market private equity-backed companies, and a growing tech sector. Beaverton and Hillsboro, home to Nike and Intel respectively, also generate sponsorship-eligible openings. Eugene and Bend have smaller markets with fewer corporate development roles and limited sponsorship activity at this seniority level.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles, including corporate development analyst positions in Oregon. You can filter by role and state to surface employers actively hiring and willing to sponsor. Because corporate development roles are competitive and sponsorship adds complexity, focusing your search on verified sponsoring employers, as Migrate Mate helps you do, saves significant time compared to broad application approaches.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for corporate development analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon does not have a state income tax on wages for international employees that differs from federal rules, but employers must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application. Oregon's corporate development market is shaped heavily by its consumer goods and semiconductor sectors, so candidates with M&A, strategic finance, or technology transaction experience tend to be most competitive with the state's major sponsoring employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
