Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for corporate development analysts?
Utah-based employers with known sponsorship activity in finance and strategy roles include Qualtrics, Pluralsight, Adobe's Salt Lake City office, Goldman Sachs, and health tech companies like Health Catalyst and Recursion Pharmaceuticals. Large financial institutions and publicly traded tech firms tend to have established immigration programs, making them more likely to sponsor corporate development analyst positions than smaller startups.
What visa types are most commonly used for corporate development analyst roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for corporate development analyst positions, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with advanced degrees may also pursue EB-2 pathways over time. Those from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is processed more quickly than the H-1B.
Which cities in Utah have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the large majority of corporate development analyst opportunities in Utah, driven by its concentration of technology firms, financial services companies, and corporate headquarters. Provo and Lehi, sometimes called the Silicon Slopes corridor, also host a growing number of venture-backed and public tech companies that hire analysts for M&A, strategic partnerships, and capital markets work.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles and lets you filter corporate development analyst jobs by state, including Utah. Because sponsorship-willing employers are pre-identified on the platform, you avoid spending time applying to companies that don't sponsor. Filtering by the Salt Lake City metro and Silicon Slopes corridor will surface the highest concentration of relevant opportunities in this role category.
Are there any state-specific considerations for corporate development analysts seeking sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's Department of Labor follows federal prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions, so sponsoring employers must document that the offered compensation meets the DOL wage level for the Salt Lake City or Provo metropolitan statistical area. The University of Utah and Brigham Young University produce a pipeline of finance and strategy graduates, which means competition for entry-level corporate development roles can be meaningful, and candidates with specialized M&A or valuation experience tend to stand out.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
