With defined capabilities in AI Monitoring, Innovation Pods, and structured opportunity development, we help the firm anticipate change, evaluate impact, and translate insight into actionable direction.
As market dynamics accelerate and AI continues to reshape how work is delivered, our mandate is expanding. We are evolving and scaling our capabilities to meet growing business demand and ensure the firm remains competitive, adaptive, and forward-looking.
We are seeking a high-potential, analytically minded Innovation Analyst to support this next phase of growth. This early-career role is designed for someone energized by structured problem-solving, emerging technology, and cross-functional collaboration — and who wants exposure to strategy, innovation, and enterprise decision-making.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Innovation Analyst, you will support two core engines of our Innovation function:
- AI Monitoring — disciplined scanning and structured assessment of AI developments that may impact the firm
- Innovation Pods — focused, cross-functional teams that explore, test, and frame high-impact AI opportunities
You will collaborate closely with Innovation Leads, Service Line representatives, and Technology partners. As part of a focused and visible team, this role includes exposure to senior leaders across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support AI Monitoring & Signal Intelligence
- Curate, tag, and organize internal and external AI signals
- Contribute to structured monitoring artifacts, including signal logs, watchlists, and summary reports
- Support maintenance and enhancement of AI Radar dashboards and reporting tools
- Conduct targeted research to help distinguish meaningful signals from noise
- Prepare materials that inform leadership posture decisions and strategic discussions
Enable Innovation Pods
- Support and participate in structured exploration sessions using creative problem-solving and human-centered design approaches to reimagine workflows, services, and client experiences
- Help synthesize exploration and experimentation outcomes into clear, decision-ready materials
- Contribute to structured evaluation approaches such as desirability, feasibility, and viability scoring
- Assist in developing executive-ready artifacts that frame opportunities and inform direction
Strengthen Innovation Discipline
- Support intake, tracking, and organization of innovation ideas
- Contribute to portfolio visibility and reporting as processes mature
- Assist in refining templates, frameworks, and documentation standards
- Flex across Innovation initiatives as priorities evolve
This role requires comfort with ambiguity and the ability to contribute effectively as the team continues to refine and scale its operating model.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, analytics, innovation, or business operations
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Able to structure ambiguous problems into organized, logical outputs
- Strong written communicator capable of producing executive-ready materials
- Confident verbal communicator with the ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders
- Curious about AI and emerging technology, with interest in understanding business impact
- Comfortable operating in an evolving, high-visibility environment
- Motivated by contributing to meaningful, forward-looking work
WHY JOIN THE INNOVATION TEAM
Play a direct role in helping the firm meet evolving business demands. Our Innovation team is central to how the organization responds to market change, advances service line strategy, and translates emerging technology into actionable direction. The work you support informs leadership decisions and shapes how the firm competes and grows.
Intersection of strategy, service lines, and technology. Innovation operates where enterprise priorities, service evolution, and emerging technology converge. This role offers a unique vantage point across how the firm anticipates change and positions itself for long-term success.

Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for corporate development analysts?
Milwaukee-headquartered firms are the most active sponsors for this role in Wisconsin. Northwestern Mutual, Robert W. Baird, and Fiserv have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for finance and strategy analysts in recent years. Johnson Controls and Kohl's Corporation also maintain corporate development functions that have supported visa sponsorship. Sponsorship decisions vary by team, headcount, and the specific role's requirements, so direct employer research is important.
What visa types are most common for corporate development analyst roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for corporate development analyst positions in Wisconsin, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization can work immediately while an employer pursues H-1B sponsorship. Some roles at multinational firms may also support L-1 transfers for internal candidates moving from overseas offices.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is by far the strongest market, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and manufacturing headquarters. The city hosts the majority of Wisconsin's M&A and strategic finance activity. Madison offers a secondary market, supported by healthcare companies, university-adjacent tech firms, and state-level financial institutions. Green Bay and Waukesha have smaller but emerging corporate centers where development roles occasionally appear at regional manufacturers and retailers.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find corporate development analyst roles in Wisconsin without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can search by role title and state to surface Milwaukee and Madison opportunities at financial services firms, insurers, and industrial companies that have a track record of sponsoring analyst-level hires.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for corporate development analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's corporate development market is heavily weighted toward financial services and manufacturing, so candidates with M&A, strategic planning, or financial modeling experience aligned to those industries tend to be more competitive. The University of Wisconsin-Madison produces a significant pipeline of business graduates, meaning employers have local recruiting options. International candidates benefit from targeting firms large enough to have dedicated immigration support, typically those with over 1,000 employees and established HR programs.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
