Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for corporate development analysts?
Milwaukee-headquartered firms are the most active sponsors for this role in Wisconsin. Northwestern Mutual, Robert W. Baird, and Fiserv have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for finance and strategy analysts in recent years. Johnson Controls and Kohl's Corporation also maintain corporate development functions that have supported visa sponsorship. Sponsorship decisions vary by team, headcount, and the specific role's requirements, so direct employer research is important.
What visa types are most common for corporate development analyst roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for corporate development analyst positions in Wisconsin, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization can work immediately while an employer pursues H-1B sponsorship. Some roles at multinational firms may also support L-1 visa transfers for internal candidates moving from overseas offices.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is by far the strongest market, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and manufacturing headquarters. The city hosts the majority of Wisconsin's M&A and strategic finance activity. Madison offers a secondary market, supported by healthcare companies, university-adjacent tech firms, and state-level financial institutions. Green Bay and Waukesha have smaller but emerging corporate centers where development roles occasionally appear at regional manufacturers and retailers.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find corporate development analyst roles in Wisconsin without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can search by role title and state to surface Milwaukee and Madison opportunities at financial services firms, insurers, and industrial companies that have a track record of sponsoring analyst-level hires.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for corporate development analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's corporate development market is heavily weighted toward financial services and manufacturing, so candidates with M&A, strategic planning, or financial modeling experience aligned to those industries tend to be more competitive. The University of Wisconsin-Madison produces a significant pipeline of business graduates, meaning employers have local recruiting options. International candidates benefit from targeting firms large enough to have dedicated immigration support, typically those with over 1,000 employees and established HR programs.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
