Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for corporate development analysts?
Eli Lilly and Company is among the most active H-1B visa sponsors in Indiana for finance and strategy roles, including corporate development. Other sponsors have included Salesforce (Indianapolis office), OneMain Financial, and various regional healthcare systems and private equity-backed firms. Sponsorship activity in Indiana is concentrated in life sciences, financial services, and manufacturing conglomerates with dedicated M&A or corporate strategy functions.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development analyst roles in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common sponsorship path for corporate development analysts in Indiana, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, or business, qualifying them as specialty occupations. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship pursue TN visa status under the USMCA. Analysts already on OPT or STEM OPT extension often secure H-1B sponsorship through employers in Indianapolis's finance and life sciences sectors.
Which cities in Indiana have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis is the clear center of gravity for corporate development analyst roles in Indiana. It hosts the state's largest healthcare, financial services, and technology employers, most of which have in-house M&A or strategy teams. Fort Wayne has a smaller but active manufacturing and financial sector presence. South Bend, home to the University of Notre Dame, occasionally generates corporate finance roles tied to university-affiliated ventures and regional business activity.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate aggregates visa sponsorship jobs specifically for international candidates, making it straightforward to filter for corporate development analyst roles in Indiana. Because sponsoring employers are a subset of all hiring companies, a general job search will surface many positions that won't support visa petitions. Migrate Mate focuses the search on employers with documented sponsorship history, saving time for analysts on OPT, H-1B, or other work authorization paths.
Are there state-specific considerations for corporate development analysts seeking sponsorship in Indiana?
Indiana's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B corporate development roles are set by the Department of Labor based on the Indianapolis or Fort Wayne metropolitan area wage data, which tend to be lower than coastal markets. This can make Indiana employers more willing to absorb sponsorship costs. Purdue University and Indiana University produce a consistent pipeline of finance and MBA graduates, so employers in the state are generally familiar with international hiring processes, though sponsorship willingness still varies by firm size and policy.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
