Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for data analytics managers?
Intel is among the most consistent sponsors for data and analytics leadership roles in Oregon, particularly at its Hillsboro facilities. Nike and Adidas, both headquartered in the Portland metro area, also sponsor H-1B visas for senior analytics positions. Oregon Health and Science University and several mid-sized software companies in Portland round out the sponsoring employer base for this role.
Which visa types are most common for data analytics manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data analytics managers in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field like statistics, computer science, or information systems. Candidates already holding L-1 visa or O-1 visa status may also find pathways through employers with existing international operations, such as Intel or Nike.
Which cities in Oregon have the most data analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of data analytics manager sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology, retail, and healthcare employers. Hillsboro, just west of Portland, is particularly active due to Intel's significant presence there. Beaverton, home to Nike's world headquarters, also generates sponsorship hiring for analytics leadership roles on a regular basis.
How to find data analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find data analytics manager roles in Oregon without sifting through positions that don't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings at Oregon employers like Intel, Nike, and others actively hiring internationally for analytics leadership positions.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for data analytics managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions are set at levels reflecting the Portland metropolitan area's competitive tech market, so employers must certify wages accordingly through the Labor Condition Application process. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon also contribute graduate talent pipelines in data science, which means some employers are familiar with OPT-to-H-1B transitions for analytics candidates already working in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data analytics manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
