Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for logistics managers?
Nike, Columbia Sportswear, and Daimler Trucks North America are among Oregon's larger employers with established HR infrastructure to support visa sponsorship for logistics roles. Intel's large Hillsboro campus also hires supply chain and logistics managers. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team budget, and the candidate's experience level, so it is worth confirming directly with each employer during the hiring process.
Which visa types are most common for logistics manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa for logistics managers, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or business logistics. Some candidates from Canada or Mexico may qualify under the TN visa through the USMCA. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa. Each category has distinct employer obligations and timelines.
Which cities in Oregon have the most logistics manager sponsorship jobs?
Portland is by far the most active market for logistics manager roles in Oregon, given its concentration of corporate headquarters, the Port of Portland, and access to major freight corridors. The surrounding metro area, including Hillsboro and Beaverton, adds manufacturing and tech-driven supply chain demand. Salem and Eugene have smaller but active logistics hiring activity tied to food manufacturing, agriculture distribution, and regional retail operations.
How to find logistics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, so you can search for logistics manager roles in Oregon without sorting through positions that don't support work authorization. The platform surfaces employers with a documented history of sponsoring work visas, which saves significant time compared to applying broadly and asking about sponsorship late in the process. Filtering by Oregon gives you a focused view of the regional market.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for logistics managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon's strong manufacturing base, particularly in semiconductors (Intel), athletic apparel (Nike), and agriculture, means logistics manager roles often require industry-specific supply chain knowledge rather than general warehouse oversight. The state's proximity to Pacific ports makes international freight experience particularly valued. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must attest to prevailing wage compliance with the Department of Labor, so the offered role's duties directly affect whether a petition is approvable.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored logistics manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
