ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Team Lead. They will set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations while creating an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
How you will achieve success:
- Recognize, mentor, and provide training and development to optimize performance, and create organizational depth and individual growth.
- Track production metrics, utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement and report to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned, rotate to other shifts/departments, and work extended hours and holidays as needed.
- Expectation to arrive at least 30 minutes early and remain at least 30 minutes at end of shift to complete pass downs, reports, and timecard review.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Team member experience in either Inbound or Outbound fulfillment operations.
- Understand safety procedures, ensure safe working practices, and document accidents/incidents timely.
- Drive results and approach obstacles proactively by prioritizing appropriately to meet deadlines.
- Assist the fulfillment center manager and area manager with the establishment of long-term operational strategic plans.
