This individual will be integral to teaming with Talent Managers (TMs) and People Senior Manager to deliver on People priorities. By design, the Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will work across a broad set of topics – with multiple priorities that will vary over time and in alignment with the priorities of the leadership team and the Talent Senior Managers. Example priority areas will include supporting and executing best-in-class programmatic efforts focused on CT affiliation and belonging; Partner upskilling; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Learning and Development incl. Onboarding, technical upskilling, certifications; Career frameworks definition; CT development; mentorship; mobility programs; and more. Importantly, this individual will team most closely with the Talent Managers to drive special projects, define scope and roadmap as well as and drive execution. The Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will at times play an important role in special projects and people analytics, whether supporting analysis of cohort pulse check data, formal global surveys (e.g., People Survey), participation to existing trainings and feedback collection, or other ad hoc system/local analyses. In this capacity, the Senior Specialist teams with the TMs and People Senior Manager to translate insights into required action or changes. The Senior Specialist will also coordinate with the TDA ecosystem, working with the TDA People Team Sr Manager and the TDA Programs Director to share best practices, identify areas for synergies and ensure plans are coordinated (e.g., TDA immersion sessions). This role’s mandate may evolve over time as strategic programs and projects are identified & implemented. Key priorities will be evaluated on an ongoing basis, to align with business needs and individual goals.
- You are highly organized and able to plan appropriate project timelines, work backward from deadlines, identify milestones and owners, and execute against a project plan.
- You are able to juggle multiple competing priorities without letting balls drop, including prioritizing your own work and seeking input where needed.
- You enjoy problem solving and are good at it.
- You feel at ease with conceptual thinking and think through the impacts that an initiative will have in the organization. At the same time, you are highly practical – taking a “get stuff done” approach to work.
- You are comfortable in both “design” mode but also in “execution” mode – e.g., draft email communications, design a L&D curriculum for a given cohort, provide project status updates, track participants, create meeting agendas, conduct follow-ups to ensure agreed actions are completed.
- You are a strong writer and are able to adapt your written communication to both the audience and the sender – e.g., email communication, slide writing.
- You are adept at and enjoy conducting data analysis with Excel.
- You are comfortable with technology topics, curious about AI and have experimented with technologies such as custom GPTs or Claude.
- You are adept at using tools to organize project work and collaboration such as Trello, Confluence. You are able to build strong relationships based on trust.
- You are empathetic and consider other stakeholders’ perspectives. You team effectively across functions and across levels in the organization.
- You are also a team player who is willing to pivot to take on different work/activities in a pinch.
- You are comfortable brainstorming and working jointly as a team, and also owning your independent work and priorities.
- You seek feedback and development, are flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and content.

Which consulting companies sponsor H-1B1 visas in Pennsylvania?
The largest sponsors of specialty occupation visas in Pennsylvania consulting include Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, and Booz Allen Hamilton, all of which have Philadelphia or Pittsburgh offices. However, H-1B1 sponsorship specifically (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals) is less commonly advertised than H-1B. Confirming a firm's experience with H-1B1 petitions during the recruitment process is worth doing, as not every office handles this category regularly.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most consulting H-1B1 sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia concentrates the majority of Pennsylvania's consulting employment, hosting offices for the Big Four accounting firms, major management consultancies, and healthcare advisory practices tied to its large hospital systems. Pittsburgh is a secondary hub, with consulting demand driven by financial services, technology, and energy sector clients. Smaller markets like Harrisburg and Allentown have more limited consulting hiring and fewer firms with active H-1B1 sponsorship history.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for H-1B1 sponsorship?
H-1B1 sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field directly related to the role. In consulting, qualifying positions commonly include management consultant, IT consultant, financial consultant, strategy analyst, and systems integration specialist, where a relevant technical or business degree is a stated requirement. Generalist roles where any bachelor's degree is acceptable regardless of field tend not to meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find consulting H-1B1 sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate lists consulting jobs in Pennsylvania with H-1B1 visa sponsorship, letting you filter specifically by visa type and state rather than sorting through postings that don't address sponsorship at all. Because H-1B1 sponsorship in consulting is less common than H-1B, using a targeted platform like Migrate Mate saves significant time. You can browse current openings across Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and other Pennsylvania markets directly on the platform.
Are there Pennsylvania-specific considerations for H-1B1 consulting sponsorship?
Pennsylvania has no state-level immigration requirements that affect H-1B1 petitions, which are governed entirely by federal USCIS and Department of Labor rules. One practical consideration in Pennsylvania consulting is that large firms headquartered elsewhere (such as New York or Washington, D.C.) often process sponsorship through their national HR teams rather than local offices, so the hiring location in Pennsylvania does not necessarily determine how familiar the sponsoring entity is with H-1B1 specifically.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 consulting jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
