Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant that will be working with simulations, experiments, and instrumentation for noninvasive fetal health monitoring.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
- May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
- Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
- Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
- Other duties as assigned.
