Responsibilities: This position is responsible for effectively maintaining production and facilities equipment throughout the Plant while ensuring that equipment operates at design efficiency and throughput.
- Experience in hands on mechanical work.
- Machining experience using vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Basic understanding of systems, print reading, layout, bearing failure and mechanical drives.
- Ensures shop, equipment and tools are safe to use.
- Ensures tools and equipment are maintained, in good working order and secured.
- Must be able to be on-call and work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- 3 – 5 years practical experience in a related field.
- Computer skills required.
- High school diploma or GED.
