Which companies sponsor visas for Manager, Product Management roles in Rhode Island?
Amica Mutual, Textron, and Fidelity Investments have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for product management roles in Rhode Island. CVS Health, headquartered in nearby Woonsocket, also sponsors product managers across its Rhode Island operations. Larger technology and financial services employers in Providence are the most consistent sponsors, as smaller startups in the state less frequently pursue H-1B petitions for senior product roles.
Which visa types are most common for Manager, Product Management roles in Rhode Island?
The H-1B is the most common visa for Manager, Product Management roles in Rhode Island, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. Candidates already holding L-1A status through multinational transfers may also transition into product management roles. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa as an alternative to H-1B.
Which cities in Rhode Island have the most Manager, Product Management sponsorship jobs?
Providence is by far the primary hub for Manager, Product Management sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island, hosting the headquarters or major offices of the state's largest employers in financial services, healthcare, and defense technology. Woonsocket, home to CVS Health's headquarters, also generates product management opportunities. Outside these two cities, sponsored product management roles in Rhode Island are relatively limited given the state's compact size.
How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Manager, Product Management roles in Rhode Island without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can browse current openings on Migrate Mate filtered to Rhode Island and the product management category. Given the concentration of sponsoring employers in Providence and Woonsocket, focusing your search on financial services and healthcare tech companies in those cities yields the most relevant results.
Are there state-specific considerations for Manager, Product Management visa sponsorship in Rhode Island?
Rhode Island employers filing H-1B petitions for Manager, Product Management roles must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Providence-Warwick metropolitan area, which reflects local market rates. Brown University and the University of Rhode Island produce graduates who compete for the same roles, so international candidates benefit from emphasizing senior-level experience and domain expertise. Rhode Island's relatively small tech sector means fewer total openings than neighboring Massachusetts, but competition among sponsored candidates can also be lower.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Rhode Island?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
