The Group Manager, Product Management, will lead and oversee a team of product managers responsible for driving the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative financial products within the finance and insurance sector. This role is pivotal in aligning product initiatives with business objectives to enhance customer experience and achieve competitive advantage. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and compliance teams to ensure products meet regulatory standards and market demands. They will be accountable for setting clear product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and managing the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration. Duties and Responsibilities of the Group Manager, Product Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Asset Servicing product managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence that advances BetaNXT’s strategic modernization agenda.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and multi-year strategy for Asset Servicing that supports BetaNXT’s mission to deliver next-generation, data-driven processing, automation, and risk-reducing capabilities across the ecosystem.
- Drive the creation and execution of product roadmaps that prioritize STP automation, exception reduction, digital workflows, and integration with BetaNXT’s unified platform architecture.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, client solutions, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery of scalable, resilient Asset Servicing capabilities that meet regulatory expectations and client SLAs.
- Use deep market intelligence, client insights, and competitive trends to identify new product opportunities that expand BetaNXT’s value proposition and strengthen our position as the modernization leader in the post-trade space.
- Own full product lifecycle management, including business case development, backlog prioritization, release readiness, and performance measurement, ensuring each initiative contributes to platform consolidation, efficiency gains, and client experience improvements.
- Partner with Sales and Client Relationship teams to articulate product value, support commercial growth, and ensure that client feedback continuously informs product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
- Champion cross-platform consistency and data quality by ensuring Asset Servicing capabilities leverage shared services, common data models, and enterprise integration standards.
- Identify and remediate product-related risks through strong governance, transparent reporting, and adherence to BetaNXT’s resiliency, audit, and compliance frameworks.
- Represent Asset Servicing in strategic planning forums, contributing to enterprise-wide prioritization and investment decisions aligned with BetaNXT’s growth, modernization, and operational transformation objectives.
Skills and Experience of the Group Manager, Product Management:
- 7+ years of product management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the finance and insurance industry or a closely related sector.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
