Which companies sponsor visas for manager, product management roles in Pennsylvania?
Comcast and its NBCUniversal division in Philadelphia are among the most consistent H-1B sponsors for product management leaders in Pennsylvania. SAP America's Newtown Square headquarters, Independence Blue Cross, and large health systems like Jefferson Health and Penn Medicine also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for product management positions. Pittsburgh's technology sector adds employers like Duolingo and Carnegie Mellon University-affiliated spinouts to the mix.
Which visa types are most common for manager, product management roles in Pennsylvania?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for manager, product management roles in Pennsylvania, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field and qualify as specialty occupations. Candidates already holding L-1A intracompany transferee status or O-1 extraordinary ability visas also fill senior product roles. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering-adjacent classifications.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most manager, product management sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia generates the largest volume of product management sponsorship activity in Pennsylvania, driven by Comcast's technology division, major insurers, and a growing fintech corridor. Pittsburgh is the second significant hub, supported by its university research ecosystem and companies in AI, robotics, and healthcare technology. Outside these two metros, Malvern and Newtown Square in the Philadelphia suburbs host enterprise software employers including SAP America that sponsor product management talent.
How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate filters product management jobs in Pennsylvania specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through postings from employers who won't file an H-1B petition. Search for manager, product management roles and filter to Pennsylvania to see active opportunities from sponsors like Comcast, SAP America, and regional health systems. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize companies with a real track record of filing for product management positions.
Are there any Pennsylvania-specific considerations for manager, product management visa sponsorship?
Pennsylvania's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions are benchmarked to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh metro wage data separately, so the certified wage on a Labor Condition Application will differ depending on where the role is based. Product management manager titles often fall under SOC codes that place them at higher wage levels, which employers must meet or exceed in their LCA filing. Candidates should confirm the work location with the employer early, as remote or hybrid arrangements can affect which prevailing wage rate applies.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
