Which companies sponsor visas for manager, product management roles in Kansas?
Garmin, Oracle Health (formerly Cerner), T-Mobile, and Black & Veatch are among the Kansas employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity for product management roles. Garmin's Olathe headquarters and Oracle Health's Kansas City campus both have active product teams that hire internationally. Larger technology and engineering firms in the state are more likely to have established immigration processes for manager-level hires than smaller companies.
Which visa types are most common for manager, product management roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for Manager, Product Management roles in Kansas, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Some candidates transition from F-1 OPT or STEM OPT. Candidates with significant seniority or international recognition may qualify for the O-1A. The TN visa applies only to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupations.
How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters Manager, Product Management openings in Kansas by visa sponsorship willingness, saving you from manually screening hundreds of postings. You can search by role and state to see which Kansas employers are actively hiring and have a history of sponsoring work visas. It's one of the most direct ways to identify product management opportunities in the Kansas City metro and Wichita areas without sorting through roles that won't support your visa.
Which cities in Kansas have the most manager, product management sponsorship jobs?
The Kansas City metro area, particularly Overland Park and Olathe, concentrates the majority of Manager, Product Management roles in Kansas due to the presence of major technology employers. Olathe is home to Garmin's global headquarters, and Overland Park hosts several established tech and telecom companies. Wichita has a smaller but active product management hiring market tied to its aerospace and manufacturing sector, including companies like Spirit AeroSystems and Textron Aviation.
Are there any state-specific considerations for manager, product management sponsorship in Kansas?
Kansas employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the prevailing wage for the specific role and location as determined by the Department of Labor, and Overland Park and Olathe generally fall under the Kansas City metropolitan wage determinations rather than rural Kansas figures. The University of Kansas and Kansas State University contribute graduate pipelines in computer science and engineering, and some candidates enter product management careers after completing OPT in technical roles. Manager-level positions require documented supervisory scope to satisfy specialty occupation requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
