Which companies sponsor visas for manager, product management roles in Oregon?
Intel's Hillsboro campus is one of Oregon's most active sponsors for product management leadership, alongside Nike and Adidas at their Beaverton headquarters. Portland-based technology companies including Daimler Trucks North America, Precision Castparts, and a range of SaaS and e-commerce firms have also filed H-1B visa petitions for product management positions. Sponsorship activity varies by hiring cycle and headcount approvals.
Which visa types are most common for manager, product management roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for manager, product management roles in Oregon, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. L-1A visas apply when a candidate is transferring from a foreign affiliate or subsidiary into a management role. Australian nationals may also be eligible for the E-3 visa, which follows a similar process to the H-1B but has no lottery.
Which cities in Oregon have the most manager, product management sponsorship jobs?
Portland and the broader metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro, account for the large majority of manager, product management sponsorship activity in Oregon. Beaverton is home to Nike and Adidas, both significant employers at the PM management level. Hillsboro hosts Intel's largest U.S. campus, which spans semiconductor and technology product lines. Outside the metro, sponsorship opportunities at this level are limited.
How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse manager, product management roles in Oregon without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to see which Oregon employers are actively hiring at the PM leadership level. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing individual job postings for sponsorship details.
Are there any state-specific considerations for manager, product management sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Oregon does not impose state-level work visa requirements beyond federal rules, but employers sponsoring H-1B holders must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage determinations for the Portland and Hillsboro metropolitan areas, which are benchmarked separately. Oregon's concentration of apparel, semiconductor, and technology employers means product management roles often require industry-specific experience. Portland's proximity to Pacific Rim markets also makes international product experience a practical asset at many Oregon companies.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
