Rockstar Games is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to help shape the future of Rockstar’s Creator Platform ecosystem. This role focuses on building sustainable systems that empower creators to build experiences, attract players, and operate thriving communities. As a member of our team, you will need a critical and creative eye capable of putting forth innovative solutions to complex problems. Working with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will be tasked with cultivating and executing on a vision for the platforms. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

- Rockstar’s Creator Platform team builds and operates technology platforms that enable creators to develop their own game modes, experiences, and modifications and players to experience community-created content on fully customized servers.
- We create tools and services that empower creators to build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize their experiences.
- We work at the intersection of games, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure, community, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Drive product initiatives from concept through delivery, including opportunity definition, requirements, prioritization, launch planning, and post-launch analysis.
- Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and arguments for key Creator Platform areas in partnership with leadership, engineering, developer relations, analytics, publishing, and operations.
- Translate product vision into clear requirements and actionable plans for cross-functional teams.
- Partner with technical teams to define and deliver platform capabilities, creator tools, and user-facing features that improve the creator and player experience.
- Use qualitative and quantitative inputs — including user feedback, internal stakeholder input, product analytics, market and competitive analysis — to inform decision-making and prioritization.
- Define success metrics for products and initiatives; ensure reporting is in place to evaluate performance and guide iteration.
- Identify difficulties and opportunities across the creator ecosystem, including creation, publishing, moderation, discovery, operations, and monetization.
- Drive improvements to existing platform and commerce capabilities, and explore new business models, services, and growth opportunities for Rockstar’s creator ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align product priorities, communicate trade-offs, and maintain momentum across interconnected workstreams.
- Develop informed perspectives on emerging trends in UGC, creator ecosystems, game development tools, platform services, and digital economies, and translate those insights into practical product opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of product management, strategy, consulting, or related experience dedicated to technology, digital products, or platforms.
- Experience owning products, features, or workflows from conceptualization through launch and iteration.
- Experience working with digital economies, marketplaces, or monetized ecosystems where pricing, incentives, and supply dynamics influence user behavior.
- Experience operating or evolving live platforms where user-generated content, community behavior, and operational considerations (moderation, reliability, performance, trust & safety) influence product decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and other technical teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate trade-offs, and drive decisions to execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, showing proficiency in synthesizing complex ideas into clear recommendations and plans.
- Ability to think at the ecosystem level; understanding how creators, players, tools, marketplaces, and platform policies interact to create sustainable growth.
- Strong product sense and analytical abilities, with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Experience developing product requirements, roadmaps, launch plans, and success metrics.
- Understanding of how platform mechanics influence creator behavior, content quality, and long-term ecosystem health.
- Comfort operating in both high-level and operational environments — from strategic planning and executive communication to day-to-day execution.
- Experience working on developer platforms, tools, APIs, SDKs, or systems where the primary users are developers or creators building on top of the platform.
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders across product, engineering, design, analytics, publishing, community, legal, business development, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
- Curiosity about user behavior and a strong desire to improve products through direct usage, testing, and iteration.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
