Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, and T. Rowe Price have filed Labor Condition Applications for product management roles in Maryland based on Department of Labor disclosure data. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Marriott International, headquartered in Bethesda, also appear in sponsorship filings. Defense contractors dominate the list given Maryland's concentration of federal contracting work, though financial services and healthcare technology employers contribute meaningfully as well.
Which visa types are most common for manager, product management roles in Maryland?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for manager, product management positions in Maryland, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Which cities in Maryland have the most manager, product management sponsorship jobs?
Bethesda and Rockville in Montgomery County represent the densest concentration of product management sponsorship activity, driven by proximity to Washington D.C. and a cluster of technology, defense, and life sciences employers. How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland?

The platform surfaces positions from employers with documented sponsorship history in the state, which is particularly useful given how many Maryland postings come from defense contractors with varying sponsorship policies across their business units.
Are there state-specific considerations for product management visa sponsorship in Maryland?
Maryland's large federal contracting sector introduces a consideration most states don't have: security clearance requirements. Many manager, product management roles at Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Northrop Grumman require or prefer candidates with active U.S. security clearances, which are generally not available to candidates on nonimmigrant visas. Focusing on the state's commercial technology, financial services, and healthcare IT employers in Bethesda, Baltimore, and Columbia typically yields more sponsorship-eligible opportunities for international candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
