In addition to regional accountability, this Director serves as the global Professional Services leader for the Collaboration Security platform, focused on platform enablement strategy, services standards, and product partnership across all regions. This role does not own delivery execution for customers outside of Americas East. Regional Professional Services leaders retain accountability for delivery performance within their respective geographies.

This role actively influences product roadmap direction by translating field insights, implementation friction, and customer requirements into structured feedback for Product Management and Engineering. The Director establishes disciplined operating mechanisms across both regional execution and global platform alignment, including KPI dashboards, forecasting accuracy, capacity modeling, standardized methodologies, and formalized product feedback loops.

Which cybersecurity companies sponsor Green Card visas in South Carolina?
Defense contractors and federal IT service firms are the most active Green Card sponsors in South Carolina's cybersecurity sector. Companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, SAIC, Leidos, and Parsons have filed PERM labor certifications for security roles in the state. Large financial institutions headquartered or operating in Columbia and Charlotte's extended market, such as Truist and Bank of America's regional offices, also sponsor cybersecurity professionals for permanent residence.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Columbia leads the state for cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship, driven by state government IT contracts, the University of South Carolina, and proximity to Fort Jackson. Charleston has a growing cluster of defense and fintech employers with active sponsorship histories. Greenville, anchored by BMW's North American operations and a rising manufacturing tech sector, is an emerging secondary market for sponsored information security positions.
What types of cybersecurity roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in South Carolina?
Roles that consistently qualify for Green Card sponsorship in South Carolina include information security analysts, penetration testers, security engineers, cloud security architects, and cybersecurity program managers. These positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, satisfying USCIS specialty occupation standards. Roles requiring federal security clearances are especially prevalent among sponsoring employers in the state's defense corridor.
How do I find cybersecurity Green Card sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for cybersecurity roles with Green Card sponsorship history in South Carolina, surfacing employers who have filed PERM labor certifications or immigrant visa petitions for similar positions. Searching by city, Columbia, Charleston, or Greenville, helps narrow results to realistic opportunities. Migrate Mate's employer profiles show verified sponsorship activity, so you can prioritize outreach to companies with a documented track record of sponsoring cybersecurity professionals for permanent residence.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in South Carolina's cybersecurity sector?
Many cybersecurity roles in South Carolina are tied to federal defense contracts, which means security clearance eligibility is often a practical requirement even before the Green Card process begins. Employers in this sector typically initiate PERM labor certification only after a candidate has demonstrated long-term employment potential. South Carolina's relatively lower cost of doing business compared to major metro markets can work in candidates' favor, as prevailing wage determinations through OFLC Wage Search may be lower than in high-cost states.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card cybersecurity jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
