This role focuses on generator project engineering, technical project management, customer coordination, and cross-functional engineering support to ensure project deliverables meet contractual, technical, budget, and schedule requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical coordination and serve as a key point of contact for customer technical inquiries and change requests.
- Coordinate with customers, EPCs, Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and field personnel.
- Review contract documentation and communicate technical requirements to engineering teams.
- Conduct Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs).
- Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and support change management.
- Resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
- Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, risks, and project deliverables.
- Support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting and engineering budget management.
- Present project risks, resolutions, and mitigation plans to senior management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to generator projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.
