Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose
This position will be working directly with a Lab Test Engineer and potentially a Lab Test Technician. All testing performed will be for the design teams, either qualifying products to go into market, or working out potential problems of equipment that were found in the field. The role will be to assist the design teams in testing their products and discuss how to perform testing, and discuss any short-comings or potential improvements based on testing performed and observation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform environmental testing through ISO, IEC, and internal CNH standards
- Be able to follow instructions and document testing performed as well as the results
- Use some of the base office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- May include the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other lab equipment to simulate electrical test conditions
- Will be tasked to design automated test software and work with other intern(s) with designing some of the fixturing to automate some testing around the lab, this may include some soldering, researching parts, and potentially some PCB design
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $38.11 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
