Which companies sponsor visas for accounting analysts in Tennessee?
Tennessee's largest visa sponsors for accounting analyst roles include FedEx (headquartered in Memphis), HCA Healthcare and Envision Healthcare (both based in Nashville), Nissan North America (Smyrna), and major financial institutions with regional offices in Nashville. Healthcare systems and logistics companies generate the most consistent LCA filings for accounting and financial analysis positions across the state.
Which visa types are most common for accounting analyst roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for accounting analysts in Tennessee, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA's accountant category, which offers a faster and simpler process than H-1B.
How to find accounting analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters accounting analyst job listings specifically by visa sponsorship history, so you can identify Tennessee employers who have actively filed LCAs for similar roles. Rather than sorting through thousands of unfiltered postings, Migrate Mate surfaces employers in Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville with a verified track record of sponsoring international candidates in accounting and finance positions.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most accounting analyst sponsorship jobs?
Nashville leads Tennessee for accounting analyst sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of healthcare corporations, insurance companies, and regional headquarters. Memphis is the second-largest market, anchored by FedEx's global finance operations and a strong logistics sector. Knoxville and Chattanooga have smaller but active markets, particularly tied to manufacturing firms and University of Tennessee-affiliated employers.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for accounting analysts in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax, which attracts corporate headquarters and regional finance hubs, supporting steady demand for accounting analysts. The state's growing healthcare and logistics sectors, both heavy users of H-1B sponsorship, create reliable pipelines for international candidates. Universities like Vanderbilt and the University of Tennessee also generate OPT-to-sponsorship pathways for accounting and finance graduates entering the Tennessee job market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored accounting analyst jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
