TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes class and grade level data for the purpose of sharing information with teachers and making informed decisions relative to instructional practices.
- Assesses skills and needs (both initially and ongoing) of teachers and students within an SEED & Lower school setting for the purpose of determining the kinds of professional development and strategies needed to bring about student achievement and growth.
- Use appropriate technology in support of the curriculum.

Plan with teachers to help them learn and grow professionally to best support the unique needs of our students.

Leads and participates in ongoing job-embedded professional development (e.g. meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information related to math and ELA content knowledge, pedagogy, and coaching.
- Supports teachers to ensure small group activities are rigorous, differentiated, and aligned to standards.
- With the administration and grade level teams, plan and support new initiatives to promote academic excellence.
- Research and develop new curriculum topics.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Mentor and coach SEED & Lower School teachers for the purpose of building capacity to teach and improving instruction.
