Which companies sponsor visas for product management leads in Tennessee?
Tennessee's largest visa sponsors for product management roles include HCA Healthcare and its subsidiary HealthStream in Nashville, FedEx in Memphis, and Asurion, which maintains a significant Nashville engineering presence. Nissan North America in Franklin sponsors product roles tied to automotive software. Mid-size healthcare IT firms such as Change Healthcare and Availity also have a track record of H-1B sponsorship for senior product talent in the state.
Which visa types are most common for product management lead roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product management leads in Tennessee. These roles typically qualify as specialty occupations because they require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates already holding L-1A or L-1B status through multinational employers, such as Nissan or FedEx subsidiaries, sometimes transfer into Tennessee-based product roles without entering the H-1B lottery.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for product management lead roles in Tennessee without sifting through positions that exclude international candidates. You can narrow results by city, narrowing to Nashville, Memphis, or Knoxville depending on your target industry. Migrate Mate's database reflects employers with active sponsorship activity, which is particularly useful given how unevenly sponsorship is distributed across Tennessee's healthcare, logistics, and automotive sectors.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the largest share of product management lead sponsorship activity in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare IT companies and growing technology sector. Memphis follows, anchored by FedEx's global headquarters and the logistics technology ecosystem surrounding it. Knoxville has a smaller but emerging market, with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and University of Tennessee-affiliated ventures occasionally sponsoring senior product roles in research and deep-tech adjacent areas.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product management leads seeking visa sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since employers must meet Department of Labor wage requirements regardless. Product management lead roles in Tennessee's healthcare IT sector often require familiarity with HIPAA-regulated environments, which can narrow the candidate pool and strengthen the case for sponsoring qualified international candidates. The state's relatively lower cost of living compared to coastal markets means compensation packages are structured differently, though DOL prevailing wage obligations still apply.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
